Louis and the Orphaned Peacock Contest Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility
1.1 The contest is open to individuals who are legal residents of any country eligible to receive and use an Amazon Gift Card and are at least the required age eligible to use an Amazon Gift Card as of the date of entry.
1.2 Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Clever Quill Publishing and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible to participate.

2. Entry Period
2.1 The contest begins on 14th August 2024 and ends on December 20, 2024, at 11:59 PM [AEST] ("Entry Period").
2.2 Entries received after the Entry Period will not be accepted.

3. How to Enter
3.1 To enter the contest, participants must have purchased either a paperback or hardcover of "Louis and the Orphaned Peacock" unless they have received an exemption code.
3.2 Participants must complete the online entry form in full, including the receipt number or exemption code.
3.3 Participants must colour the designated Pete and Louis colouring page for the contest.
3.4 Participants must upload a photo or video of their finished artwork, include a picture of the book cover for "Louis and the Orphaned Peacock," and post it on a social media platform of their choice.
3.5 Participants must tag us and use the hashtag #LouisAndTheOrphanedPeacockContest in their social media post.
3.6 Participants must also spread the word about the competition and the book.

4. Contest Requirements
4.1 All entries must be original and created solely by the participant.
4.2 Entries must not contain any offensive, inappropriate, or harmful content, as determined by Clever Quill Publishing in its sole discretion.

5. Prizes
5.1 The first prize includes five beautiful paperback children's books by various authors, a $100 USD Amazon gift card, and a Pete & Louis T-shirt.
5.2 There will be five runner-up prizes, each consisting of a Pete & Louis T-shirt and a $20 USD Amazon gift card.
5.3 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be substituted for cash or other items.

6. Winner Selection and Notification
6.1 Winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
6.2 Winners will be notified via email within 14 days of the contest end date.
6.3 If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim the prize within 14 days of the notification, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected.

7. General Conditions
7.1 By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Clever Quill Publishing, which are final and binding in all respects.
7.2 Clever Quill Publishing reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the contest, as determined by Clever Quill Publishing in its sole discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Clever Quill Publishing is not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest; (b) technical failures of any kind; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the contest; (d) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the contest or the processing of entries; or (e) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

9. Privacy
9.1 Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purposes of administering the contest and will not be shared with any third parties without the participant’s prior consent.

10. Governing Law
10.1 The contest and these Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

By participating in the Louis and the Orphaned Peacock Contest, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
